Allergy & Food Sensitivities Testing

We offer a number of allergen-specific immunoglobulin E (IgE) blood test panels that evaluate different IgE antibodies associated with common allergens. Higher levels of IgE can be found when the body overreacts to what are normally thought to be harmless substances. Allergy symptoms can range from mild itching and sneezing to a life-threatening condition called anaphylactic shock. IgE symptoms can be inconspicuous and resemble other conditions, making accurate diagnostic testing crucial.

IgE Food allergy test

  • IgE Food Allergy Panel – Basic (25 foods)

  • IgE Food Allergy Panel – Advanced (93 foods)

  • IgE Inhalant Panel (36 inhalants)

  • IgE Mold Panel (12 molds)

Available seperately:

IgE Inhalant Allergy Basic Test- serum

Inhalant (or respiratory) allergens are environmental substances that can trigger an allergic reaction when they are inhaled into the body, including common substances such as pollen, grasses, dust mites, animal dander, mold spores, and even some types of chemicals.

Mold IgE Allergy- serum

Mold allergy is a type of allergic reaction that occurs when an individual’s immune system is exposed to mold spores or mold cell components – typically via inhalation, ingestion, and/or contact with the skin. Molds are a type of fungi which grow in moisture-rich environments such as damp areas in homes like bathrooms and basements, and high humidity areas in buildings or vehicles. In addition, certain occupations have been identified to increase risk for mold exposure: construction industry (e.g., builders, plumbers, HVAC technicians), farmers, food industry workers, janitors/cleaners, and health care workers.

MosaicDX’s IgE Mold Allergy Test measures an individual’s total immunoglobulin E (IgE) level as well as allergen specific IgE levels to 13 mold allergens (markers).
